Wow, seems I'm putting out some major revisions every single day! On this sunny Sunday I opted to bring you Beefy Build 37 instead of going outside. I'm dedicated!
In this issue, we have a bunch of artistic upgrades - upgraded GameOver/Victory screen, the return of replays for Tutorials, and some fixed up sound effects.
We are also sporting a fix specifically designed for Azxs12's cat (http://forum.protonaut.net/showthread.php?t=71).
As usual, full changelog after the jump.

ART CHANGES:
- New animation for your preloading pleasure
- The WallJump animation is a bit quicker now - should make it feel a bit more responsive.
- Main menu image is no longer translucent (game items shouldn't appear behind it)
- Victory menus now show level stats (User Levels show more detail than the Tutorials)
- New shadow effect on notify window headers to make them easier to read
AUDIO CHANGES:
- There are now 10 distinct audio channels for in-game sound effects. If anyone notices clipping (where a sound effect ends earlier than it should) let me know and I'll boost it up.
- New Projectile Detonation sound effect
- The Death sound is now louder, as it's fairly important ;)
- The blipout sound effect is now quieter, as it's not important to gameplay at all.
EDITOR CHANGES:
- You can no longer draw a bond between two elements where a bond already exists.
GENERAL CHANGES:
- If the game pops up any status box on load (upgrading notices and such) it will no longer forward to a level or replay.
- The version number is now internally handled as a numeral instead of a string. This will hopefully help out future compatibility issues, but may hideously break previous editions. If you have any trouble, clear your cookies.
- The game now checks the website to see if you have the latest version, and lets you know if you don't have the latest version. If it has trouble connecting it will assume everything is OK after a 3 second wait. (Takes effect on future builds, not this one)
- The yellow focus box no longer appears (you can still see cursor position)
- Re-added the Save Replay button to the GameOver and Tutorial screens.
GAMEPLAY ADDITIONS:
- You can now press SHIFT-\ (backslash) to commit suicide and prematurely end a level. You cannot vote if you commit suicide.
- A blipping-out or exploding projectile will no longer interact with the world (eg: a half-faded-out-blip animation will not "get" elements anymore)
WEB-BASED LEVEL BROWSER CHANGES:
- Added AirTime to the replay display
- Fixed the bug where you had to login twice.
CURRENT TUTORIAL LEVELS:
These are still under construction but are the basic gist of tutorialness for the game:
Tutorial 1: 585 Collecting and Jumping: Now bigger and more fun on it's own.
Tutorial 2: 535 Firing: Now bigger and more fun as well.
Tutorial 3: 586 Nitrogen: Now shows a very "light" booby trap and mostly-enclosed (unreachable) Elements.
Tutorial 4: 587 Hydrogen
Tutorial 5: 584 Single Bonds
Tutorial 6: 544 Double bonds
Tutorial 7: 545 Ghost Bonds
Tutorial 8: 588 Carbon/Iron intro
Tutorial 9: 503 Wall-Jumping

Problem: If you click on Options, Help, or Login from the victory screen, you'll go back to the level, but without the elements. And if you die, no death screen will come up.

Hm, very strange. You take damage from hitting things (except terrain) very hard, so you probably almost died just landing on that rod when you fell. Not sure what the killing blow was though. :/

I think I died when the ball exploded.

Sounds like a caching issue.
Your browser knows www.protonaut.net is one address, and protonaut.net/?replay=175 is a DIFFERENT website, so it starts a new cache for that one.
Clear your cache to make it better all around.

That happened to me, too. And I clear my cache all the time. Well, it works now, so I don't care.

Near the end of the replay, when there are a bunch of nitrogens at the bottom, I think a glitch happens. I shoot right in between them and it gets neither.

My guess is that the edge of the stick hit the iron and disappeared. That's why when you got closer, you were able to hit it.

It's a little hard to see, but it's striking the corner of the iron.
I was thinking about making it not disappear after hitting iron....

I like that it disappears when hitting iron. I bet there are some interesting levels that can result!

:siren: WARNING :siren:
Looks like replays don't save if you don't use the default controls.
I'm redoing the replay dataset for B38.
I can't believe nobody reported this yet. It essentially means that, despite me going through the effort of putting in custom controls, and all the whining about not having control choices, nobody has bothered to use them.

Ohh... thats why replays didn't work for me.

Some suggestions for the game:
-A pause button. To pause during replays and while playing.
-Mirroring pieces. Sometimes you need something to be opposite.
-A link back to the game from the level browser.

The level browser is obviously in a very early beta state right now. :) It'll eventually have a proper menu to take you back to the game.
As for pausing - right now you can hit any of the menu buttons (like HELP) and it'll pause the game in the background... I dont' want to devote a key for it at this point.
Mirroring - Meh. I don't see it being a big deal.. it's one of those nice-to-have tools that just goes rusty in the bottom of the box

I just whine until you set the default controls to be the ones I want :P
